Scheduled for Jun 18, 23:33 PDT  -  Nov 15, 22:33 PST

Scheduled

Summary
Following up on our earlier update (https://status.telesign.com/incidents/hg1jmtfjdfj1), Telesign can now fully support all registration scenarios listed below, with an alternative verification option available for direct brand owners with ABN (Australia Business Number). The required documents in Registration Pre-steps remain the same. Additionally, 2-way DLC solution remains available, with no setup fee and only a monthly fee of US$2.50 per DLC. Expected registration timeline is around 1-2 weeks.

Registration Pre-steps
To register an alphanumeric Sender ID for Australia, please complete the following forms:
● Registration Form:
https://telesign.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/Sales/IQB1BQgIwBHiSZ_zS9q5Pa32AZ_8Ka-oVHBSv7-DEgL60dY?e=CVCFHx (Expired 7.16.2026)
● Authorization Letter:
https://telesign.sharepoint.com/:w:/g/Sales/IQAHn6NM2M3zRIOc4ZZ954coAa_d-mhxXQv2ly1GNFkeVjI?e=7ainvO (Expired 7.16.2026)

Registration Process:
♦ Direct Brand Ownership
>Scenario A
(1) Direct Brand Owner with ABN (Recommended Option): You will be able to register alphanumeric Sender IDs with standard business verification steps. ACMA will manage and trigger the business verification via the email sender "Australian Communications and Media Authority ".
(2) Direct Brand Owner with ABN : There is also an alternative verification pathway with extra charges, via Certified Telcos, where there is no direct ACMA involvement and no direct verification action is required from brand owner.

>Scenario B
Direct Brand Owner without ABN (international / business identification number that is not from Australia): Registrations require enhanced third-party verification, handled via certified participation pathways. The recommendation is for the authorized business POC to be visibly connected to the company and/or be on official documents to streamline the verification checks.

♦ Non-Direct Brand Ownership
>Scenario C
• Non-Direct traffic from Brand Owner with and without ABN: Registration of alphanumeric Sender IDs for Australia is now available and requires the files found under Registration Pre-steps .
• If the represented brand has an ABN, the brand-owner is required to pursue verification directly via ACMA (similar to Scenario A-1), or through the alternative verification pathway (similar to Scenario A-2).
• If the represented brand does not have an ABN, registrations require enhanced third-party verification, handled through certified participation pathways (Similar to Scenario B)

Note: For all registration scenarios, applicable fees may apply.
