Generic Sender IDs are no longer permitted on Nepal Mobile (Nepal Telecom).
Effective immediately, all brand owners with traffic sending to this network are requested to replace generic IDs with an alphanumeric Sender ID that is directly related to their brand name or message content. Any traffic submitted with unregistered Sender IDs may face delivery failure or rejection. The registration for an alphanumeric Sender ID is straightforward. The required details include the desired Sender ID, company name, company URL, and sample message content. Registration may take up to 2–3 weeks to be approved, and there are no fees associated with this process. Please note that purely numeric codes are not permitted for use in Nepal.
Telesign has implemented short-term measures to prevent immediate delivery failures. However, all brand owners should register and use approved Sender IDs as soon as possible. For further questions or support, please reach out to your account manager or our Support team.
