The Austrian regulatory authority (RTR) has introduced mandatory Sender ID registration. Starting 1 October, only registered Sender IDs will be accepted.

Additional Information:
From 1 October, messages sent with registered Sender IDs will be delivered successfully. Unregistered Sender IDs will be blocked. If a registered Sender ID is used by someone other than its registered owner, it will be replaced with "Unbekannt" (Unknown).
Generic Sender IDs are not permitted. Sender IDs are case-sensitive. German special characters (ä, ö, ü, ß) are not allowed. Sender IDs may contain letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters, but cannot consist solely of numbers or begin/end with a space.

Please submit your Sender ID registration request no later than 15 August to ensure continued message delivery after 1 October.
