The Austrian regulatory authority (RTR) has introduced mandatory Sender ID registration in Austria. Starting 1 October, only registered Sender IDs will be accepted for message delivery.

Required Information Please provide the following information for each Sender ID registration:
Sender ID name Company legal name Company URL Justification/proof of the connection between the company name and the Sender ID Company address: City, Street, Postal Code, Country Company contact email Purpose of the SMS (e.g., OTP, 2FA, promotional offers, notifications) Sample message Letter of Authorization (LOA) For reseller customers, we will accept the full chain of authorization: From the end client to the reseller partner, and From the reseller partner to Telesign.
Additional Information
From 1 October, messages sent with registered Sender IDs will be delivered successfully. Unregistered Sender IDs will be blocked. If a registered Sender ID is used by someone other than its registered owner, it will be replaced with "Unbekannt" (Unknown).
Generic Sender IDs are not permitted. Sender IDs are case-sensitive. German special characters (ä, ö, ü, ß) are not allowed. Sender IDs may contain letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters, but cannot consist solely of numbers or begin or end with a space.
✅ Action Required Please submit all required information and the Letter of Authorization (LOA) no later than 11 September to allow sufficient time for registration and ensure continued message delivery after 1 October.
