KDDI Network introduced new anti-spam feature in February 2023.
This feature is a filter function that prevents SMS that matches KDDI's criterion of spam SMS (phishing scams, gambling, adult, etc.) from being delivered to customers. Since this feature is a part of security enhancements, any criterion of spam SMS is not shared from KDDI, and they stated that they are not going to accept investigation request regarding this filter function.
This feature is free of charge, and will be automatically applied to all customers who use KDDI network.
