Attention valued clients! We'd like to inform you that generic and gambling senders for Omantel network will be blocked from 1st of January 2024.
To prevent some of senders that Omantel considers generic to be blocked, the following should be provided: NOC letter, business license and details of Sender ID name, Company name, Company URL, Sample message, Type of traffic.
Gambling senders are not allowed and there is no solution to unblock/register them.
All previously registered non-generic and non-gambling senders will remain registered and not blocked. No need to provide any details/documents from them.
Registration of brand names for Oman is still mandatory, therefore all new/future brands should be registered, and the following details will be enough to register sender: Sender ID name, Company name, Company URL, Sample message, Company Address.
